In this vital role, you will provide professional, personalized care that enables our clients to maintain their independence and live comfortably and confidently in the familiarity of their own homes, especially during the quiet overnight hours. As a Night Home Aid, you become a trusted companion who offers emotional reassurance and practical assistance, helping seniors feel safe and valued throughout the night. Your kindness, patience, and attention to detail will contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Responsibilities:

You will ensure these activities are performed with respect and dignity, always prioritizing the client’s comfort and preferences.
  • Monitor the health and well-being of clients carefully during your shift and communicate effectively with the broader care team. This includes providing timely updates and promptly reporting any significant changes or concerns regarding the client’s condition, behavior, or needs to ensure continuous, coordinated care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by following care plans and company protocols, helping to minimize risks such as falls or health complications during the night.
  • Offer companionship through engaging conversations, reading, or simply being a comforting presence to help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation that clients may experience overnight.

  • Hold a valid driver's license, have reliable transportation, and provide proof of insurance. This ensures you can consistently and safely travel to client homes in Menomonee Falls and surrounding areas during overnight hours.
  • Successfully complete a thorough background check and drug screening to guarantee the safety and well-being of vulnerable seniors entrusted to your care.
  • Show a genuine passion for improving the lives of seniors by providing compassionate, patient, and empathetic assistance tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each individual client.
  • Possess strong observational skills and good communication abilities to effectively monitor clients’ health or behavioral changes and collaborate closely with the healthcare team.
  • Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and professionalism in all aspects of the job, respecting client confidentiality and maintaining high ethical standards.

Benefits:

  • Enjoy the rewarding experience of making a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of seniors by providing attentive care and companionship through overnight support.
  • Benefit from flexible scheduling options designed to respect your personal lifestyle, family commitments, and other responsibilities, making it easier to balance work and life.
  • Work within a supportive and collaborative team environment that values your contributions, encourages your professional growth, and fosters empathy among staff and clients alike.
  • Receive competitive hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $18.00, with reliable bi-weekly payments, reflecting the importance and specialized nature of this overnight care-giving role.
