Job Description

Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient rehabilitation setting delivering compassionate, hands-on patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with evidence-based treatment plans to improve mobility, function, and independence.
Provide patient education on prescribed exercises and safety.
Support delivery of therapeutic interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-first care.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current licensure/registration as required by state regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
Ability to follow clinical direction and apply evidence-based practices.
Comfort working in a team environment and supporting patient education and adherence.
