Job Description

Patient Relations Coordinator

Full-Time | In-Person | Bethesda, MD

Big mission. Small team. Incredible opportunity.

At Rachel Rubin MD, we're changing the conversation around urology, sexual medicine, and women's health — one patient at a time. We're a growing, nationally recognized medical practice with five physicians, offices in Bethesda and Los Angeles, and a passionate team committed to exceptional patient care, education, research, and advocacy.

We're looking for a Patient Relations Coordinator who loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to make a difference. You'll be one of the first voices our patients hear and one of the first faces they see. That matters! We're looking for someone who can make every patient feel welcomed, heard, and cared for from the very first interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the welcoming face and voice of our practice, helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, including new consultations, follow-ups, and physician calendars.
  • Guide new patients through the process, from their initial inquiry to scheduling, paperwork, and practice policies.
  • Manage patient communications, including phone calls, messages, and scheduling requests.
  • Keep things running smoothly, maintaining accurate records, managing patient check-in and check-out, and collaborating with our clinical team.
  • Pitch in wherever needed! We're a small, collaborative team, and everyone plays a role in our success.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Warm, personable, and genuinely passionate about helping people.
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
  • A great communicator who can handle sensitive conversations with compassion and professionalism.
  • Comfortable multitasking, solving problems, and adapting in a busy medical practice.
  • Tech-savvy, eager to learn, and a true team player.
  • Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
  • An interest in medicine or a future healthcare career is especially welcome!

Why Join Us?

We're not your typical medical practice. You'll work alongside nationally recognized physicians and a team passionate about improving healthcare for women and men. We offer:

  • A supportive, collaborative environment where your work truly matters.
  • Opportunities to learn from our physicians through educational seminars and lunch-and-learn sessions.
  • Exposure to exciting developments in urology, sexual medicine, and women's health.
  • Health insurance with an employer contribution.
  • Paid time off, sick leave, holidays, and academic leave.
  • Salary: Commensurate with experience.
  • Position: Full-time, in-person | Bethesda, MD

If you're enthusiastic, hardworking, and excited to be part of a team doing meaningful work, we'd love to hear from you!
