Job Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team and family members.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation techniques.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy equipment and workspace.
• Participate in routine staff meetings and contribute to the collaborative care approach.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in a home health or outpatient setting is a plus.
