Overview

The Principal DevOps Engineer at Ascensus will play a vital role in enhancing our cloud infrastructure and software delivery processes. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated deployment pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a culture of collaboration and reliability.
• Oversee the management and scaling of Kubernetes and container orchestration solutions.
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Identify bottlenecks in existing deployment pipelines and optimize workflows for performance.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on DevOps best practices and tools.
• Participate in incident response activities and conduct post-mortem analyses for continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering, site reliability engineering, or similar roles.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of container technology (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, security, and compliance standards.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
