Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to define and deploy the systems that support continuous production.
• Enhance infrastructure by proposing and implementing best practices in automation, configuration management, and monitoring.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in DevOps practices and tooling.
• Oversee and improve system reliability and performance through effective monitoring and incident response strategies.
• Contribute to the security posture of our applications and infrastructure.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automating routine tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of networking and security protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal DevOps Engineer will work with a diverse set of technologies and tools, including but not limited to: AWS or Azure cloud services, Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous integration, Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana to optimize performance and reliability.
