Overview

The Principal DevOps Engineer at Vizit is responsible for leading and advancing our DevOps practices to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Collaborate with development teams to architect scalable and reliable applications in cloud environments.
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and quick recovery from failures.
• Lead incident response activities, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and enforce security policies that ensure the integrity and compliance of our systems.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and processes to enhance team efficiency and performance.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior engineers, fostering an environment of growth and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and DevOps roles.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and system monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of managing complex projects.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Technologies & Tools
