Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly reliable and secure systems that support AI operations.
• Perform system performance tuning and troubleshooting to enhance reliability and incident response.
• Develop monitoring solutions to proactively detect and resolve security vulnerabilities and operational incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Lead incident response efforts and post-incident reviews, driving improvements in system resilience.
• Establish and maintain relevant SRE metrics to track system performance and operational health.
• Conduct capacity planning and ensure scalability of AI systems to meet growing business needs.
• Mentor and guide junior SREs and other team members in best practices and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields, with a strong focus on AI systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks to streamline deployments.
• Solid foundation in network security protocols, intrusion detection systems, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Proven experience in incident management and response, including triage and resolution processes.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and AI operational challenges is a plus.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE role will involve working with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS and Azure cloud services, Kubernetes for container orchestration, Docker for containerization, and Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and visualization. Familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools will also be essential, as will an understanding of machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch for performance evaluation in AI applications.
