Job Description
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse
Provide complex, step-down level nursing care for medically stable but high-acuity patients. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring. Manage telemetry and IV therapies, administer medications, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.

- Conduct thorough assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
- Manage telemetry and IV therapy needs
- Administer medications and deliver appropriate nursing care
- Coordinate and support interdisciplinary care plans
- Educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence
- Support safe transitions of care across the continuum
- Strong progressive care/step-down nursing knowledge
- Ability to deliver complex care with attention to patient safety
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and IV therapy management
- Evidence-based clinical judgment and effective communication
- Collaborative mindset with leadership and training support
