REI Systems is seeking a highly skilled QA/Test Automation Engineer Lead to enhance our quality assurance processes by implementing automated testing strategies. Job Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team in the development and execution of automation test strategies and frameworks.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Manage resource allocation and task assignments within the QA team to optimize testing efforts.
• Review and analyze system specifications to identify test requirements.
• Monitor and report on testing progress and results to stakeholders, providing actionable insights.
• Continuously evaluate and implement improvements in testing processes and tools.
• Mentor and train QA engineers in best practices and emerging technologies in test automation.
• Participate in requirement gathering and design reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Proven experience leading QA teams and managing tests in complex projects.
• Strong proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
• Excellent programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Technologies & Tools

The QA/Test Automation Engineer Lead at REI Systems will work with a variety of modern tools and technologies including, but not limited to, Selenium for automated testing, JIRA for project management, Jenkins for continuous integration, and Git for version control. Familiarity with cloud-based testing solutions and performance testing tools is also beneficial for this role.
