Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts that validate the functionality and performance of software applications.
• Identify, document, and escalate software defects as well as track them through resolution.
• Collaborate with product development teams to facilitate defect resolution and verify fixes.
• Automate testing processes where feasible and maintain automation frameworks.
• Conduct regression testing and performance testing to ensure software stability and scalability.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, including risks and issues to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA Analysts and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with team members.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
