Job Overview

Stride, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Identify, record, and track software defects through the testing process, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to evaluate software quality and efficacy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to address issues and improve product quality.
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality considerations.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plan updates, defect logs, and status reports.
• Utilize automated testing tools as applicable to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members in quality assurance processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methods.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is a plus.
