Role Description The Real Estate Agent role at J. King Real Estate is a full-time hybrid position based in Irmo, SC, with work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and nurturing leads, conducting property showings, and guiding clients through the buying and selling process from initial consultation to closing. The agent will prepare and present comparative market analyses, draft and negotiate contracts, coordinate inspections and appraisals, and ensure compliance with all real estate regulations and company policies. This role also involves maintaining strong relationships with clients, delivering responsive customer service, and collaborating with team members and industry partners such as lenders and inspectors. The agent is expected to stay current on local market trends, attend meetings and trainings, and represent the company’s values in all client interactions.

Qualifications

• Active Real Estate License and solid understanding of Real Estate and Real Property principles.
• Strong Customer Service skills with a client-focused, relationship-building approach.
• Demonstrated Sales abilities, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing transactions.
• Knowledge of the Columbia and Irmo, SC real estate markets or willingness to develop local expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail in contracts and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and transactions, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Comfort with technology, including MLS systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
