Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Ashland, KY. The Salesperson will greet and engage customers, identify their transportation needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection process for both new and used inventory. Daily responsibilities include presenting vehicle features and benefits, conducting test drives, explaining pricing and financing options, and completing sales paperwork accurately. The role also involves following up with leads, maintaining relationships with prospective and current customers, and using dealership tools and systems to track sales activities. The Salesperson will collaborate closely with the sales, finance, and service teams to provide a positive, seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, active listening, and relationship-building skills to engage customers and understand their needs.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to present options and close sales in a professional manner.
• Basic math and computer skills, including comfort with CRM systems, email, and digital tools used in the sales process.
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge across multiple automotive brands, including features, warranties, and financing options.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate records.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism, with a commitment to a non-discriminatory, inclusive customer experience.
• Prior sales or retail experience in automotive or related fields is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
• Availability to work full-time, including some evenings and weekends as needed; valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
