Security Officer – 2nd & 3rd Shift Flex Officer

Position Details

Location: Mebane, NC, USA

Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour

Shift: 2nd and 3rd shifts, flexible scheduling

Position Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at the assigned facility by monitoring premises, enforcing regulations, and responding promptly and professionally to incidents.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings, access points, and perimeter for suspicious activity.
Enforce access control policies and verify identification of visitors and employees.
Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities such as property damage or theft.
Communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency personnel, and management as needed.
Provide assistance and guidance to visitors and employees to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to observe, assess, and report security concerns accurately and professionally.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, including nights and weekends.
Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
Must comply with North Carolina state and local licensing requirements for security officers.

Salary

$17.75 per hour
