Senior Accountant

Established and global manufacturing/distribution company is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its team in Wood Dale, IL. Reporting directly to the Controller, this is a broad-based Sr. Accountant role with exposure well beyond traditional GL responsibilities.

Senior Accountant Snapshot:

• Month-end close, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Inventory accounting and related reserves
• Parent company financial reporting
• Fixed assets, intercompany accounting and commission calculations
• Cash forecasting and management reporting
• Internal controls, audit support and process improvement
• Oversight/support of AP and AR activities

Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Savvy with MS Excel and ERP systems
• Inventory accounting experience a plus
