We are recruiting an experienced, hands-on Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager for an established, growing manufacturing company in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Overseeing collections and account reconciliations
• Preparing monthly and year-end financial statements
• Handling general ledger accounting, accruals, and adjusting journal entries
• Performing bank reconciliations and account analysis
• Managing inventory accounting
• Processing biweekly payroll
• Supporting financial accuracy, reporting, and overall accounting operations

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience
• Strong general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting experience
• Experience managing multiple accounting functions independently
• Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of inventory accounting is highly desirable
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work with minimal supervision
• A proactive, dependable professional who takes pride in accuracy and accountability
