Senior Associate / Head of Residency

Treehub is an early-stage investment and company-building platform for scientist-founders in health and AI. We back founders coming out of universities and research institutions with capital, a 20-week residency in Los Altos, and hands-on support from our partners, advisors and community.

Role Description

The Senior Associate / Head of Residency leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Treehub’s residency program. This role oversees residency operations, including planning cohorts, running sourcing, managing selection processes, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring a high-quality experience throughout the residency lifecycle. The person designs the curriculum, schedule programming, secure mentors, and align residency goals with Treehub’s broader mission. The Senior Associate / Head of Residency also represents the residency program in meetings and events, supports residents with guidance and resources, and contributes to strategic planning for future cohorts.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, mentors, partners, and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and priority-setting skills to manage multiple cohorts, timelines, and deliverables.
• Advanced communication skills, including clear written communication, confident public speaking, and constructive feedback delivery.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and taking ownership of initiatives from concept to execution.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in education, business, social impact, operations, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
