Job Overview

The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer at CDW will play a pivotal role in optimizing our DevOps processes and enhancing operational efficiencies within the cloud infrastructure. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps services to streamline code deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements and provide appropriate solutions for application architecture.
• Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and practices to enhance existing DevOps workflows and cloud capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Azure cloud services and related technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in team settings.
