Senior Cost/Inventory Accountant

Growing manufacturing/CPG company seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant with strong cost accounting and inventory management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly cost and inventory accounting close
• Analyze inventory, manufacturing, labor, and material variances
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Manage standard costing and cost roll-ups
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams on inventory accuracy
• Support physical inventories and cycle counts
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and manufacturing analysis
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls
• Support audits and drive process improvements

Qualifications ✅ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
✅ 4+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing
✅ Cost accounting, inventory accounting, and variance analysis experience
✅ Knowledge of standard costing and inventory controls
✅ Strong Excel and ERP skills
