Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for leading and implementing innovative solutions to streamline operations at Lensa. This role requires a deep understanding of both development and operations processes, enabling the ideal candidate to bridge the gap between software development and IT operations. The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and ensure the reliability of systems while optimizing performance across our cloud environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless software deployment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and ensure alignment with operational goals.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and security assessments to safeguard company data.
• Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures for future reference and training.
• Analyze system metrics and logs to identify potential risks and optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.
• Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation purposes.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior DevOps Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools including but not limited to, cloud services such as AWS and Azure, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitLab, and infrastructure automation frameworks such as Terraform and Ansible. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK stack will also be advantageous in ensuring system reliability and performance.
