Offered.ai is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the practices and methodologies that promote continuous integration and delivery, leading the automation of our infrastructure, and enhancing our operational procedures. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with developers, IT staff, and project managers to ensure smooth operations of our deployment pipeline and cloud infrastructures, ultimately enhancing our product delivery and service reliability.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for scalability.
• Collaborate with software engineering to create efficient workflows and automate processes.
• Ensure system security and compliance with best practices and company policies.
• Provide support and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and other team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions into our practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and security practices.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior DevOps Engineer will primarily utilize a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, AWS or Azure cloud services, Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, Terraform for IaC, Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous integration, and Prometheus or Grafana for monitoring. Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef will also be beneficial.
