Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and performant frontend architectures for web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for different devices and browsers.
• Conduct code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code standards.
• Identify and resolve performance issues and front-end bugs proactively.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and trends, and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure a seamless data flow between the frontend and backend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and how to interact with them.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies (Jest, Mocha, etc.).

Technologies & Tools

In this position, the Senior Frontend Software Engineer will work with a diverse range of technologies and tools including but not limited to JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, Git, and various testing frameworks. Familiarity with tools such as Webpack, SASS or LESS, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure will also be beneficial in optimizing our development workflows and deployment processes.
