Job Title: Senior Full Stack AI Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: Plano TX (Remote)

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to design, build and productionize enterprise-grade Agentic AI applications and intelligent workflow solutions for a large global consumer products client. You’ll work across the frontend and backend, build AI agents and multi-agent workflows, and work closely with AI architects and senior AI leads to ship real business value.

Beyond writing code, you’ll assess existing codebases, find technical gaps and modernization opportunities, analyze agent traces, and keep improving the quality and performance of the solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain enterprise-grade Agentic AI applications and workflow automation solutions
• Develop responsive, modern UIs using React, TypeScript, shadcn/ui and Motion
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, AI agents and orchestration layers with Python, FastAPI, FastMCP and PydanticAI
• Design and implement multi-agent systems, MCP integrations, tool-calling frameworks and workflow orchestration patterns
• Assess existing applications for design gaps, technical debt, performance issues and modernization opportunities
• Analyze agent traces, execution logs and workflow telemetry to diagnose issues and improve performance
• Define and implement AI evaluation frameworks covering accuracy, groundedness, consistency, relevance, latency and reliability
• Optimize prompts, workflows, retrieval strategies and agent interactions
• Build reusable AI engineering frameworks, components, templates and accelerators
• Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of production AI apps hosted on Azure
• Collaborate with architects, product teams and senior AI leaders on solution architecture and roadmaps

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack expertise
• 2+ years building AI, Generative AI or Agentic AI applications
• 3+ years of strong Python and modern backend engineering
• 3+ years of strong TypeScript and React frontend development
• 2+ years designing and implementing AI agents, agent orchestration and workflow automation
• Hands-on experience building APIs and microservices with FastAPI
• Experience with MCP-based integrations, agent frameworks or similar AI orchestration technologies
• Experience evaluating and improving AI systems through analysis of traces, logs and workflow outputs
• Strong understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, prompting techniques and context management
• Production-quality engineering practices: testing, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring and observability
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, and strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Enterprise-scale Agentic AI applications in production
• AI observability, evaluation frameworks and quality measurement methods
• Human-in-the-loop workflows and agent governance patterns
• Mentoring engineers and driving technical best practices
• Exposure to large enterprise software modernization initiatives
• Experience working directly with senior architects and technical leadership

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
