Senior Full Stack Software Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to build and maintain modern web applications using ReactJS, NodeJS, and Microsoft SQL Server. The role involves developing responsive user interfaces, integrating APIs, and writing efficient SQL queries to support application functionality and reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong full stack development experience, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and focuses on code quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop front-end user interfaces using ReactJS and modern JavaScript tooling, including Vite.
• Build and maintain client-side applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop and integrate server-side services and REST APIs using NodeJS and ExpressJS.
• Design, write, unit test, and document application code.
• Write and optimize Microsoft SQL queries, joins, views, and stored procedures for application features and reporting.
• Prepare reports, requirements, user stories, and design documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Apply problem-solving and software design skills to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
• Participate in software design and architecture discussions to address functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with NodeJS and REST API development, preferably using ExpressJS.
• Advanced SQL skills, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS for responsive and accessible web development.
• Experience with Git and modern source control workflows.
• Experience working in a Microsoft Windows development environment.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust – Medium Background Investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vite or similar React development tooling.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance APIs.
• Knowledge of automated testing practices and performance optimization.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra.
• Familiarity with healthcare or insurance domains and related data standards.

Work Arrangement & Employment Type

• Remote position.
• W-2 employment is required due to client requirements.
