About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER role is focused on evolving and managing the production infrastructure that supports AI workloads within the organization. This position contributes by designing and leading incremental improvements toward a cloud-native deployment model, ensuring reliable, observable, and secure systems. The role is critical in laying the foundation for the company's next growth stage, enabling engineers to efficiently build and operate services. It involves ownership of infrastructure decisions, operational reliability, and collaboration across teams to meet evolving platform needs.

Responsibilities:

• Evolve production infrastructure with clear architecture and safe migrations
• Build foundations for AI workload execution, scheduling, and resource management
• Develop observability tools for system behavior and failure diagnosis
• Improve engineering workflows through infrastructure as code and deployment automation
• Participate in on-call duties and enhance operational recovery procedures
• Integrate security practices including access control and data protection
• Collaborate with engineering and business operations to translate needs into infrastructure capabilities

Requirements:

• Extensive experience operating Kubernetes in production with deep understanding of scheduling, networking, and scaling
• Proven ability to design new infrastructure and migrate workloads with sound architectural judgment
• Practical engineering decision-making balancing control and complexity
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), Linux, networking, storage, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Capability to develop software and tooling that reduces operational workload
• Strong ownership mindset with clear communication skills
• Typically 5+ years in infrastructure, platform, SRE, or related engineering roles

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base salary range: $205,000 to $275,000
