Job Overview

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Centric Software, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product excellence by leading the testing efforts for our software solutions. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Lead and mentor junior QA staff in testing methodologies, best practices, and tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the software meet quality standards.
• Conduct static and dynamic testing for web and mobile applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Report, track, and prioritize defects with detailed documentation to facilitate resolution.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the QA process.
• Utilize automation tools to improve testing efficiency and accuracy, and develop automated test scripts as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related role.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
• Ability to analyze complex software systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, you will work with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, Selenium for test automation, JIRA for issue tracking, Git for version control, as well as performance testing tools such as JMeter. Familiarity with cloud-based environments and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines will also be beneficial in ensuring seamless testing processes.
