About the Role

We are expanding our engineering practice with a skilled Senior .NET Software Engineer to design and build scalable, high-performing microservices and APIs within a cloud-native Azure environment.

In this role, you will work across the full software development lifecycle—collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver clean, reliable .NET applications that integrate seamlessly with modern data pipelines and front-end architectures.

What You Will Do

• Microservices Development: Design, build, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable microservices and application components using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) on Microsoft Azure.
• API & Frontend Integration: Partner with front-end developers to design, document, and deliver robust REST APIs that power intuitive user experiences.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Technical Leads, Architects, DevOps, and Data Engineers to align on technical architecture, code reviews, and data integration points.
• Data Modeling & SQL: Design and maintain efficient data models, write complex database queries, and ensure data integrity within relational database (SQL) environments.
• CI/CD & Quality Assurance: Drive end-to-end SDLC practices, maintaining unit and integration test coverage, and automating deployments through modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Best Practices & Performance: Champion engineering standards across API design, secure coding practices, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex system issues and production bugs promptly.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily focused on backend or full-stack development.
• Core Tech Stack Proficiency: Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and relational databases (SQL / RDBMS).
• Cloud & DevOps Experience: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Architecture & Patterns: Solid understanding of microservices architecture, object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and asynchronous messaging systems.
• Frontend Concepts: Familiarity with modern web standards (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience building backend APIs for frameworks like React or Angular.
• Software Excellence: Demonstrated proficiency in unit testing, CI/CD automation, application logging, and monitoring practices.
• Communication & Teamwork: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across distributed technical teams.
