We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineering Manager specializing in IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) focused on Cluster Management to join our dynamic team at Talentify.io. Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Design and develop robust, scalable cluster management solutions for our IaaS offerings.
• Define and implement architectural standards and best practices for cluster management systems.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects.
• Work closely with product management and other stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize development activities.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to facilitate seamless deployment and monitoring of cluster management applications.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on IaaS, cloud technologies, or infrastructure software.
• 5+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within software engineering.
• Proven expertise in cluster management technologies, container orchestration, and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or similar.
• Solid understanding of modern cloud architectures and practices, including microservices and serverless computing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Software Engineering Manager will leverage a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
