Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team at Mamsys World. In this 100% remote full-time role, the Senior SRE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our mission-critical systems and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust infrastructure, automate processes, and oversee incident management, all while implementing best practices for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructures to support our applications and services.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines and monitoring systems to ensure system reliability.
• Lead incident response initiatives, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance system availability and performance.
• Assist with capacity planning and demand forecasting, ensuring resources align with business needs.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SRE team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to design and implement effective load testing and resilience strategies.
• Review and enforce DevOps practices and ensure adherence to security standards across all aspects of operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 11+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or similar roles.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java, with a solid understanding of software development processes.
• Strong experience with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
• In-depth knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills coupled with a strong ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
