Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement observability frameworks to ensure comprehensive monitoring of services and infrastructure.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance monitoring dashboards and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level objectives (SLOs).
• Respond to and investigate incidents, performing root cause analysis to eliminate recurrence.
• Drive improvements in reliability, availability, and performance through effective incident management.
• Provide guidance on the use of observability tools and practices throughout the organization.
• Participate in on-call rotation for systems and related services.
• Document observability best practices, processes, and system architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related discipline.
• Thorough understanding of observability concepts, including monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Proficiency in using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
• Strong expertise in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and microservices architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
