Senior Vice President

Role Description The Senior Vice President role is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing strategic direction, commercial performance, and organizational development at Al Malbas Al Fakher Trading. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting and executing business strategies, managing key P&L initiatives, and monitoring market trends to identify growth opportunities. The role involves leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, aligning operations with company goals, and ensuring efficient processes across trading, supply chain, and customer service. The Senior Vice President will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, drive major projects and transformation initiatives, and establish governance frameworks to manage risk and compliance. This role also requires regular performance reviews, budgeting oversight, and clear communication of priorities to ensure sustainable and scalable business growth.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in senior executive roles, including strategic planning, decision-making, and team management within trading, distribution, or related industries.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth, managing P&L, and optimizing operational efficiency in a remote or multi-location environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with partners, clients, and internal teams.
• Experience in change management, organizational development, and implementing governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to analyze complex data, market trends, and financial reports to inform strategic decisions and prioritize initiatives.
• Comfort working in a remote setting, with strong self-management skills and proficiency in digital collaboration tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
• International trading or regional market experience, along with familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes, is highly beneficial.
