Job Description

A server is responsible for the following duties and tasks:

Engage with guests, team members and managers to make a positive lasting impression
Ensure and promote safety and cleanliness
Serve alcohol to guests following safe alcohol service guidelines and local, state and federal laws
Take guests' orders and accurately enter them in our POS system
Prepare beverages, desserts & soups
Anticipate and fulfill guest requests
Deliver food and beverages to guests
Particiate in team pre-bussing and running of food, offer to help fellow team members
Help to ensure the restaurant is set up for success by stocking side stations & completing sidework
Process payments, including making change for cash payments
Light cleaning
Communicate openly with management regarding any work-related concerns

Requirements

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older
A minimum of one year of serving experience in a full service restaurant with a bar
Must be guest focused, proactive, charismatic, outgoing and approachable
Must have a valid Food Handler Card
Able to speak, read and understand English
Has excellent verbal communication & interpersonal skills
Can perform basic mathmatic calculations
Able to solve problems, adapt to change easily and multi-task
Able to work positively in a fast-paced environment
Able to work effectively within a team
Able to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency and able to meet deadlines
Able to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
Able to lift up to 20 lbs. as needed
Have continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching & twisting
