Job Overview

Ender-IT is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer with expertise in Azure and Terraform to join our dynamic remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure. This role encompasses a blend of engineering, operations, and development, whereby the engineer will help build and maintain the infrastructure necessary for smooth deployment of applications and services while proactively identifying and resolving issues that may affect performance or reliability.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure services.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automated system management and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment of applications in the Azure environment.
• Perform incident response and root cause analysis to improve service reliability.
• Enhance system monitoring, alerting, and APM (Application Performance Management) capabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents as part of a DevOps culture.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and optimizations within system operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in site reliability engineering or a related DevOps role.
• Proven experience with Azure cloud services and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes or Docker.
• Solid understanding of networking, security protocols, and compliance best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system issues.
