Overview

The Site Reliability Engineer - Kubernetes (SRE) at WebstaurantStore plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the reliability, availability, and scalability of our services. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes orchestration to ensure high availability and performance of business-critical applications.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and develop solutions for fault tolerance and resiliency.
• Work collaboratively with development and operational teams to facilitate continuous integration and deployment of applications.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks through scripting and orchestration tools.
• Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or similar role.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Understanding of networking protocols and services including DNS, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset toward system reliability.
