Overview

As a Software Engineer in Test at Ascendum Solutions, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and design test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate bug tracking tools.
• Perform regression testing to ensure software functionality remains intact after changes.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and maintainability of code.
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate system scalability and reliability.
• Provide input on process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
