Software Engineer - Remote Role

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this full-time, remote position, you will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications while working closely with engineers, product managers, and other technical teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of professional software development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to write reliable, maintainable code. You will contribute to application development, resolve technical issues, and help improve software performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and production bugs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Develop and integrate APIs and third-party services.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Follow software development best practices and coding standards.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, or .NET.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, databases, Git, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of microservices and cloud-native application development.

Salary and Benefits

• Annual salary: $110,000–$145,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
