Job Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, promoting best practices in software development and design.
• Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of high-quality APIs, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Manage the API team’s project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery of projects while meeting the expected quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to align API development with business goals.
• Conduct performance reviews and contribute to team members' career development through regular feedback and coaching.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, testing practices, and CI/CD pipelines for API development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead position.
• Proficient in API design and development, with a strong understanding of RESTful services and related technologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Technologies & Tools
