Job Overview

Conexess Group is seeking a skilled Software QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Java and JavaScript to join our dynamic remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products. This role requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to identifying defect trends and enhancing testing processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and JavaScript
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to define testing requirements
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, design, and implementation
• Identify, record, and track defects in a timely manner
• Enhance the existing automation framework for greater efficiency and coverage
• Conduct regressions testing for all stages of software development
• Provide feedback to development teams on quality issues and areas for improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation testing with strong skills in Java and JavaScript
• Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar
• Understanding of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

The candidate will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Jenkins, Git, and Postman. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud-based platforms will also be advantageous.
