Overview

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at SnapTryAI, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
• Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking tools, and verify defects after they are resolved.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are understood and met.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new features or bug fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on testing methodologies and strategies.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in software quality assurance and participate in continuous learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
• Proficient in manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is a plus.

Technologies & Tools

In this role, you will work with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, test automation frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG), bug tracking software (JIRA, Bugzilla), continuous integration systems (Jenkins, Travis CI), and version control systems (Git). Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure, may also be beneficial for this position.
