Overview

VeriiPro is seeking a dedicated and experienced Software Quality Engineer to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the software products meet the highest quality standards through comprehensive testing strategies. Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and concise manner using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on coding practices related to quality.
• Coordinate with the development team to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes in a timely manner.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance software quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or TestNG.
• Strong knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and testing principles.
• experience with scripting or programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, you will work with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, Selenium for automated testing, JIRA for issue tracking, and Git for version control. Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI will be advantageous. Knowledge of Agile methodologies will also be beneficial as our development process adheres to this framework.
