Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage release management processes and tools to enhance stability and performance of software releases.
• Work with development teams to establish and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices.
• Utilize Azure DevOps to manage and automate build and release pipelines.
• Coordinate and facilitate release planning sessions with stakeholders to set expectations and timelines.
• Monitorand report on release metrics to ensure successful deployment and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to release processes, procedures, and guidelines.
• Train and mentor team members on release engineering best practices.
• Perform risk assessments for releases and proactively mitigate potential conflicts and issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software release management or a related role.
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps and modern project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban practices.
• Proficient in scripting and programming languages that support automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
