Job Overview

Veradigm® is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing our production systems' reliability, availability, and performance. As a Senior SRE, you will collaborate with various engineering teams to implement best practices in site reliability and facilitate proactive monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis to ensure seamless operations across our platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure production systems are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.
• Monitor system health and performance using advanced observability tools, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Lead post-incident reviews to identify root causes and prevent recurrence, documenting findings and approaching fixes.
• Establish and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to measure system performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in systems and networking, with a deep understanding of operating systems, cloud platforms, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
