Job Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
• Identify, record, and track bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Perform performance testing and ensure scalability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met and promote best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
