Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain systems to improve service reliability and performance.
• Develop and enhance automation tools and processes to manage infrastructure.
• Work with software engineers to accelerate the development cycles and improve deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Build and maintain best practices documentation around system reliability and performance.
• Manage incident response and conduct post-mortem analyses to derive learning outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems and resolve outages promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and site reliability engineering.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Proficiency with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
