Overview

Convene, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure, automating processes, and facilitating the deployment pipeline to enhance productivity and reliability across systems. Your expertise will play a crucial part in optimizing our cloud environment, ensuring high availability and scalability, and promoting best practices in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support the deployment of applications.
• Automate system configurations and processes using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure efficient software development lifecycles.
• Build and manage infrastructure in the cloud with a focus on security, scalability, and efficiency.
• Perform system upgrades and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Document and maintain configuration management and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to support production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Extensive knowledge of container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, i.e., Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
