Staff Accountant

LHH is partnering with an established organization in the DFW area that is looking to add a Staff Accountant to its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of accounting experience who enjoys a hands-on role and wants exposure to multiple areas of the accounting cycle.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare and compile sales and use tax information
• Reconcile sales/use tax activity to the general ledger
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with monthly financial reporting
• Prepare journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
• Track and maintain fixed asset records
• Work within vendor portals to process invoices, purchase orders, and payments
• Assist with daily deposit activity
• Gain cross-functional exposure to AP, AR, and other accounting functions
• Partner closely with accounting leadership on reporting and special projects

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting preferred
• 2–3 years of related accounting experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, hands-on accounting environment
