Job Description

Surgical Technologist II supports complex surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms and ensuring readiness of sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment.

Key Duties

Set up and maintain sterile fields for procedures
Anticipate surgical needs and assist surgeons and nursing staff throughout cases
Arrange, verify, and manage surgical instruments and supplies
Perform instrument and specimen management, including accurate counts
Handle specimens appropriately and support documentation needs as required
Ensure strict compliance with infection control, safety, and surgical standards

Qualifications & Skills

Proven surgical technology experience in support of complex procedures
Strong knowledge of sterile processing, aseptic technique, and OR workflow
Attention to detail for instrument counts and specimen handling
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
