Surgical Technologist II

supports surgeons and the operating room team by preparing the OR, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting during surgical procedures.

Key duties include:

Set up the operating room and maintain aseptic, infection-control standards throughout cases
Handle, pass, and manage surgical instruments and supplies during procedures
Provide patient safety support for patients of all ages, including assisting with cardiothoracic cases when required
Perform care, handling, and basic maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment
Follow strict sterile processing and safety protocols in a high-volume surgical environment

Qualifications & skills:

strong knowledge of surgical asepsis and infection prevention, proficiency in OR setup and sterile technique, and ability to support surgical teams efficiently while handling instruments and equipment safely.
