Role Description The Tire and Lube Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at the service department in St George, SC. This role is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and basic inspections. The technician will assist with mounting and balancing tires, inspecting brakes and suspension components, and identifying potential repairs or safety concerns. Day-to-day tasks include following repair orders, maintaining a clean and safe work area, using shop tools and equipment correctly, and completing documentation for services performed. The Tire and Lube Technician will work closely with service advisors and other technicians to ensure timely, accurate service and a positive experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Foundational skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine Maintenance & Repair.
• Ability to perform Oil Changes and related fluid services efficiently and safely.
• Basic Automotive Repair knowledge, with an understanding of Suspension components and tire-related services.
• Attention to detail, commitment to safety practices, and ability to follow service procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced shop environment, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Prior experience in an automotive service environment or technical training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
